My name is Paul Caheny. I’m originally from Sligo in the northwest of Ireland. I’m currently studying for a Master of Science in High Performance Computing at EPCC within the University of Edinburgh. I’m a graduate of Dublin City University’s Bachelor of Science in Computer Applications after which I spent five years working with Ericsson as a Software Engineer, developing distributed C++ and Java software for their 3/4G Radio Telecom Network infrastructure.
Writing a blog is a great way to build and maintain knowledge and experience. In this blog I’ll write about Parallel Programming, High Performance Computing and related topics.
I took the photo in the header of this blog at Sagrada Familia in Barcelona during the summer of 2009.
Hi Paul – Enjoyed reading your most recent post. I noticed that you have a list of blogs on the right hand side. Would you consider adding this new blog on parallel computing by Mark Harris of NVIDIA to the list? It’s called Parallel Forall. See it at: http://developer.nvidia.com/blog?term=2
